Rayo To Publish Best-Selling Camilo Cruz

By Aída Bardales -- Críticas, 6/15/2007

RayoHarperCollins’s Latino imprint, Rayo, announced the addition of Camilo Cruz to its list of authors. La ley de la atracción (“The Law of Attraction”), which is scheduled for publication in Spanish at the end of July, is based on Cruz’s premise that creating and embracing a clear mental image of what one wants in life is enough to make that dream a reality. Cruz told Críticas his goal is to clarify some of the myths and the common mistakes surrounding the law of attraction and help readers use the law to build the life they’ve always wanted. “We are the architects of our own destinies,” he said. “We attract the kind of relationships and level of health or prosperity we desire…. We literally are what we think.”

Camilo CruzCruz is the best-selling author of La Vaca (Once Upon a Cow; Taller del Éxito, 2003), winner of the 2004 Latino Book Award for Best Self-Help Book in Spanish, as well as 20 other books and audiobooks on leadership and professional and personal development. René Alegria, Rayo’s publisher and editorial director, said he has wanted to work with Cruz for a long time and that his books “are intelligent, thoughtful, and entertaining.” Cruz, also a renowned motivational speaker, teaches other Hispanics how to realize their American dream.
